WedBeas is a location-aware social discovery and relocation platform that connects travellers with locals before they arrive. Discover people, match, chat, explore Cityline posts, use relocation tools, maps, and share music in sync.
Hi Product Hunt! 👋 I’m Fotios, the maker of WedBeas.
I built WedBeas around a simple idea: if you’re planning to move or travel to another city, why should you wait until you arrive to start meeting people there?
WedBeas uses a Local/Traveller model. If you only set where you currently live, you’re a Local. If you also choose a destination city, you become a Traveller. That status dynamically changes who can discover you, who you can discover, and what appears in your Cityline feed.
Over time, the product grew to include matching, swipe discovery, real-time chat, distance filtering, city and relocation tools, maps, social posts, and even synchronized music listening between matches.
I built the product through an AI-assisted development workflow and have been iterating on both the web and Android experience.
I’d especially love feedback on the Local/Traveller concept: would being able to connect with people in a city before moving or travelling there be useful to you?
