Webtools
The operating layer behind your custom website
Webtools gives custom websites and apps the backend they shouldn't have to rebuild. Keep your frontend completely custom while Webtools handles content, ecommerce, services, portfolios, enquiries, CRM, subscribers, analytics and the operator dashboard behind it. Built for developers and agencies who want to ship client projects faster without rebuilding the same backend and admin workflows every time.
Hey Product Hunt 👋
I built Webtools because I kept running into the same problem while building custom websites for clients: the frontend was different every time, but I kept rebuilding the same backend systems, content management, products, enquiries, admin dashboards, analytics, customer records, and more.
Webtools is my attempt to separate those two things.
You can build the frontend however you want: Next.js, React, Astro, mobile apps, or something generated with an AI coding agent, while Webtools provides the reusable business backend and dashboard behind it.
We're already using Webtools to power real production websites, including Webtools itself.
I'd especially love feedback from developers and agencies: what would Webtools need to replace the backend/admin work you normally rebuild for client websites?

Who hunted Webtools?
Webtools was hunted by Tomilola Oluwafemi. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
