Webhook Notifications
Turn webhooks into native Mac notifications, your rules
A stable URL to point any webhook at (GitHub, Stripe, CI, your own apps) that turns each request into a clean native macOS notification, formatted by your own rules. A tiny signed menu-bar app. No browser tab to babysit, no relay service, no polling scripts.
Hey Product Hunt 👋
This one started as an itch I couldn't scratch. I kept wanting my Mac to just *tell me* when a webhook fired (a deploy finished, a payment came in, a PR opened) without me babysitting a browser tab or wiring up yet another script.
I went looking for something that already did this cleanly. What I found was duct-tape: webhook.site + Pushover, or ngrok + a custom notifier, or a Slack channel I'd end up muting anyway. Nothing that just turned "a webhook arrived" into "a native Mac notification, worded how I want." So I built it.
How it works:
- Create a listener and you get a stable https://hooks.flitsy.app/hook/… URL
- Point any webhook source at it (GitHub, Stripe, Shopify, CI/CD, Zapier, Make, your own apps)
- Each request pops up as a real macOS notification, formatted by your rules
The bits I'm proud of:
- Per-listener templates: Mustache title/body with dot-paths into the payload, so notifications say exactly what matters instead of dumping JSON
- Filters: optional JSONPath so a listener only fires on the events you care about
- AI-assisted setup: paste a sample payload, hit ✨, and it drafts the title, body and filter for you
- Genuinely native: a SwiftUI menu-bar app, signed & notarized, auto-updating. Not Electron, not a web page
It's free for 3 days, then $2/month (or $24/year). Requires macOS 14+ on Apple Silicon.

I'd love to know: what would you point at it first? And if there's a source you wish it parsed more cleanly, tell me, that's exactly the feedback that shapes where this goes next.

Who hunted Webhook Notifications?
Webhook Notifications was hunted by Jay McCormack. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
