Capture modern websites. Browse them locally.
Most website downloaders struggle with modern websites. JavaScript-heavy pages, dynamic content, and complex layouts can turn into incomplete or broken local copies. WebCopier takes a different approach. It uses a real browser to capture websites as they render, then saves them as local, browsable projects on your Windows PC. Built for web developers, designers, and anyone who wants to keep a local reference of a website they can access. Capture websites. Keep them yours.
Hey everyone! 👋
I built WebCopier because I kept running into the same frustrating problem: I'd find a website I wanted to study or keep as a reference, but the tools I tried often produced incomplete copies. Styles went missing, dynamic pages broke, and modern JavaScript-heavy websites didn't always survive the process.
After struggling with existing tools, I decided to build my own solution using a real-browser approach.
WebCopier captures websites into local projects you can browse on your Windows PC. I've been testing it against complex, modern websites, and I'm launching it to get feedback from people who work with the web every day.
I'd love to know:
**What's the most frustrating problem you've faced when trying to save a website locally?**
And if you try WebCopier, I'd genuinely appreciate your honest feedback.
