Web of Jobs
Matching talent with opportunities
WebOfJobs is a private, matching-first job platform. Roles are never posted to the open web — instead, employers get the best-matched CVs delivered to their inbox, and only candidates who clear the employer's fit threshold are invited to apply. No unqualified flood, no spam. It runs alongside your existing ATS, so there's nothing to migrate, and it draws on an established audience, so the candidate side isn't a cold start. Precision over volume — the opposite of LinkedIn.

Hey everyone 👋 I built WebOfJobs because hiring has quietly broken on both sides. Employers post a role and drown in easy-apply and AI-generated applications — hundreds of them, most from people who don't meet the basics. Candidates fire applications into the void and hear nothing back. Everyone's doing more work for worse results. So I flipped the model. On WebOfJobs, a role is never published to the open web. When you post, the system matches it against candidates and sends you the best-fit CVs directly — you reach out, instead of waiting. And candidates only ever receive an invitation to roles they actually clear the threshold for. No spam, no flood, no noise. Just qualified people on both sides. It runs alongside whatever you already use — post here with a link back to your careers page, nothing to migrate. I'd genuinely love this community's take on two things: If you hire: what would make you trust matches enough to reach out first, before seeing an application? If you're job hunting: would an invitation-only model feel better, or would you miss being able to apply to anything? Happy to answer anything in the thread. 🙏

Who hunted Web of Jobs?
Web of Jobs was hunted by beau Schwab. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
