Weave Context Skills

Repository-aware AI skills for engineering knowledge

Reusable AI skills that help coding agents navigate repository knowledge using explicit Markdown references, deterministic navigation, and repository-native engineering documentation.

Top comment

Hi everyone! 👋 Over the past months I've been thinking about a problem that keeps appearing as AI coding agents become more capable. Most repositories already contain valuable engineering knowledge: - architecture notes - ADRs - debugging investigations - implementation decisions - developer documentation But agents rarely navigate that knowledge the same way developers do. Weave Context Skills is my attempt to improve that. Instead of creating another documentation format, these skills teach agents to work with repository knowledge through explicit references, deterministic navigation, and repository-native workflows. The project is completely open source, and most of the documentation now lives in the GitHub Wiki so it can evolve independently from the repository README. I'd really love feedback on: - Which AI tools you use today (Claude, Cursor, Copilot, Windsurf...) - How your team manages engineering knowledge - What workflows you wish AI agents understood better Thanks for taking a look! 🚀
