Hey ProductHunt, @cohitre and I are back with our second Waypoint launch!
During our initial launch, we had to cast a relatively wide net for table stakes and to better understand the market.
After working closely with some incredible customers (and potential customers), we quickly uncovered a core problem – teams consistently were running into engineering bottlenecks around building and maintaining email templates.
This may sound a bit silly since there are many template builders on the market. However, we've realized that these other builders were designed for basic marketing emails with little to no dynamic data. This meant anytime a template required any level of complexity, teams would end up reverting back to hand-coding templates.
To solve for these bottlenecks, we've doubled down on our template builder. Our builder now features a wide range of building blocks that works seamlessly with data-rich content. This means even building complex templates like reports with loops and conditionals can easily be created without code.
Designers can now build templates visually, developers can send the right data through our API, and everyone on the product team can monitor deliverability.
To summarize what's change since our last launch (6 months ago):

- 🖼️ 30+ ready-to-edit sample email templates for SaaS, e-commerce, and marketplaces.
- 📈 End-to-end observability with email deliverability metrics and insights.
- 🧭 Self-serve onboarding.
- 📄 Improved API docs and tutorials.
