Top comment

After cycling indoors on my smart trainer for over 3 years I found there wasn't really an app that scratched my itch to ride real world routes in my local area with gradients simulated on map & elevation data. Competitors had fancy features like 3D worlds and complex social capabilities but none let me pick anywhere on a map and just cycle. Hence WattFactory was born, browser based smart trainer cycling application with BLE and ANT+ support for most popular trainers. Get started for free. Any feedback welcome either via ProductHunt or on our subreddit. Ongoing active development and hoping to add more features as a fast follow post launch.

Who hunted WattFactory?

WattFactory was hunted by Robert Putt. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
