We built this in 2020 during lockdown. At the time, every Netflix watch party tool was either unreliable or broke the moment you switched episodes. Nothing out there actually worked well. Honestly, not much has changed since then. Most alternatives still have the same problems. We focused on getting the basics right: real sync that doesn't drift, seamless episode transitions, and a setup that takes under a minute with no accounts or sign-ups. It's been running for 6 years and we've kept improving it. The latest addition is a phone remote so you can control playback from your couch without touching your laptop.
