I built Warden because MCP servers can be incredibly useful, but giving a server your normal system permissions can be a pretty big trust boundary.
Warden takes a different approach: define what the server is allowed to access, put it inside a sandbox, and block everything outside that policy.
I’m especially interested in testing Warden against MCP servers I didn’t write myself.
