Top comment

We're a team of Gen Zers from different backgrounds, but what united us to build WanderWhy is the exhaustion from the conventional, exploitative, attention-manipulating social media. We looked deeper and found that social media is one of the leading causes of social anxiety, body shame and so many more problems that got exacerbated by these platforms, of which we are victims as well. So we gathered to create a social network that embodies the word "social". Where the phone is just the first step to find experiences and meet people, the rest takes place in real life. Through WanderWhy we want to reignite the thrill of meeting people, going to random events, trying new things and experiencing the life at its fullest, both solo and in company.

Who hunted WanderWhy?

WanderWhy was hunted by Daniil Shvartsman. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post.
