Hi, maker here. Quick description:
WalletWallet takes a barcode (or now a social handle) and makes a real Apple or Google Wallet pass from it. You paste, pick a color, save. No app or signup directly from your browser. Wallet passes even though they are just ZIP file dresses as .pkpass they need a proper Apple or Google Developer account, hence why you'd need something an app like this.
About the social handle part. v1 shipped in December for the simple case: gym cards, library cards, the QR your rec center is using. After it went on HN, I was at couple of conferences and noticed something. People were making passes with their Linkedin or Instagram handle, and just showing the QR to other person to share their profile. Much faster than spelling "@alex97_catZ" in a noisy room.
So in v2 I made it a proper workflow. Pre-styled passes for 12 services: Spotify, Instagram, GitHub, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, Threads, X, Product Hunt, Telegram, VK, Xing.
Also new: Google Wallet support, so Android works now.
