WalkBlock Kids Safety
Block distracting apps while kids are walking
Block distracting Android apps while your child walks or moves. WalkBlock provides parent PIN protection, allowed apps and no GPS tracking.
Hi Product Hunt! 👋
I built WalkBlock to solve a simple but increasingly common problem: kids looking at their phones while walking.
WalkBlock automatically blocks selected distracting apps when movement is detected, while keeping essential apps available. The goal is not more tracking or stricter parental control — it’s simply to reduce screen distraction at the moments when attention should be on the surroundings.
We’ve tried to keep the experience lightweight, privacy-conscious, and easy for parents to configure.
I’d really appreciate your feedback:
* Does the concept make sense immediately?
* What features would make WalkBlock more useful for your family?
* Is there anything that would stop you from using an app like this?
Thanks for checking out WalkBlock! 🚶📵
