WakeQuest is an alarm app designed for people who find it easy to dismiss alarms and fall back asleep. Instead of simply tapping a button, users can complete challenges such as solving math problems, shaking their phone, scanning a QR code, or using an AI-powered camera challenge to turn off the alarm. Users can also combine challenges and customize alarms to create a wake-up routine that works for them.
We built WakeQuest to solve a simple problem: alarms are easy to dismiss, especially when you're still half asleep.
The idea came from wanting an alarm that requires you to actually do something before turning it off. We started with simple challenges like math and shaking the phone, then evolved the app by adding QR and AI-powered camera challenges so users can choose how they want to wake up.
Our goal is to make waking up more intentional without making the experience unnecessarily complicated.
