I'm Majid, founder of Wakeel.org.
Over the past year, I've been building something I wish existed years ago—a legal AI assistant designed specifically for Pakistan.
General AI tools know a little about everything, but they often struggle with Pakistani statutes, court judgments, legal terminology, and bilingual legal queries. Lawyers and law students end up spending hours searching through scattered PDFs, legislation, and case law.
Wakeel.org was built to solve that.
Today it helps users:
• Research Pakistani laws and case law
• Analyze legal documents and PDFs
• Draft legal notices and legal content
• Explain complex legal language in simple English or Urdu
• Answer legal questions with source-grounded responses
• Support lawyers, students, citizens, and legal organizations from one platform
Rather than trying to replace lawyers, our goal is to make legal research faster, legal information more accessible, and legal workflows significantly more efficient.
