Voxio

Turn speech into formatted text

Voxio is a mobile recording app that will transform any audio into concise notes. You can create notes from meetings, lectures, interviews, but also personal memos just by speaking to your phone or write formal emails, only with your voice.

Hey all! Today I'm launching a mobile app that you might find very useful on everyday basis. 🎤 At the end of the last year, I noticed there is not much going on around audio. Everyone were so focused about big amounts of data, chatting with [whatever], summarizing docs, etc. Basically, everyone was converting text to text (which is very useful, don't get me wrong), but there are other areas where we can gather data and use it - AUDIO! 🧠 Voxio allows you to convert your speech into formatted text that you use everyday, and normally you would type by hand. There are a lot of use cases here, but I typically divide them into two categories: 1️⃣ First one is when it's you speaking to your phone. By just throwing your thoughts into the microphone you can: 🟢 create a concise text that is meant for easy reading and understanding (using the Cleanup template) 🟢 extract items from the speech and automatically format them into a list 🟢 write a Casual Email, for example to your co-worker 🟢 write a Formal Email - I use it for responding to users for support 🟢 compose a Tweet or a Post for other platforms 🟢 write a whole long-format Blog post 2️⃣ Second situation is when you're not the only one speaking. You just leave your phone recording and you can get: 🟢 meeting notes 🟢 lecture notes 🟢 extracted and formatted questions and answers from an interview ------- 📝 Let me also share a quick story, for those who are interested: 🏗️ At first, Voxio actually started as an app for "converting speech into Notion pages". So it was pretty much built on top of this popular app that's so hot these days. 🙋‍♂️ As more and more folks were interested in Voxio, I decided to make it more independent, as it is now. But you can still integrate it with Notion if you want to 😉 ------- I'd love to hear any feedback from you guys. What do you all think?
