Hi Product Hunt! 👋
I built VoxGuess after wondering how much we can recognise about a language without understanding the words.
The idea is simple: listen to a short recording of a real person speaking, then identify the language from four choices. Early rounds place very different languages together. As your score increases, the choices become much more closely related.
VoxGuess currently includes:
• 10.000 real human recordings
• 100 languages
• Solo play with progressively harder rounds
• Multiplayer rooms for friends and classrooms
• No account, download or synthetic voices
I’d particularly love feedback on the difficulty curve: when did the choices become challenging, and which languages were hardest to distinguish?
