I wanted VoiceOS to feel truly native for Japanese users. Not just “translated.” Japanese writing has its own rhythm, politeness levels, and context cues, and most voice tools struggle with that. So we spent a lot of time localizing the entire experience: UI, behaviors, and the writing itself so Ask Mode can produce natural Japanese that fits the situation.
The Japanese community has been incredibly supportive, and I really care about getting this right. If you’re a Japanese speaker (or you work with Japanese teammates), I’d love for you to try it and tell us what feels great and what still sounds “off.” We’ll iterate fast.
