I’m relaunching **VoiceToTextOnline** today - a simple voice-to-text tool I built out of frustration with how slow and complicated most transcription tools feel.
Most tools I tried had at least one of these problems:
* required signup
* forced uploads to servers
* were slow or clunky
* had hidden limits
So I built something different:
👉 Runs entirely in your browser
👉 No signup, no login (for audio/video file transcription- login required)
👉 Audio never leaves your device (privacy-first)
👉 Supports 55+ languages
👉 Live dictation + audio file transcription
👉 Export to text / SRT (subtitles)
The goal was simple:
> Open the site → start speaking or upload audio → get text instantly
Why I’m relaunching
The first version got some traction, but I realized:
* UX needed improvement
* performance could be faster
* messaging wasn’t clear
So I reworked it based on real usage and feedback.
