I built Viveka after watching a friend spend weeks
applying to Goldman Sachs IB roles with a CFA L1
and Big 4 TAS background.
He's a strong candidate. But Goldman India recruits
almost exclusively from IIM A/B/C. No tool told him
that. He just heard nothing back.
That's the gap Viveka fills — not resume formatting,
not keyword stuffing, but actual Indian finance hiring
norms encoded into a scoring engine.
A few things that make it different from anything
else out there:
→ CFA L2 and CFA Charterholder are scored differently
(hiring managers treat them completely differently)
→ Big 4 TAS at 2–3 years is flagged as the canonical
path into mid-market IB — most tools don't know
this exists
→ College brand gates are firm-specific, not generic
(IIM L is fine for Avendus, not for Goldman)
→ Track transitions are scored with actual transition
rules — IB to credit is easy, IB to PE without MBA
is hard
