Hi Product Hunt,
I'm Franck, and I built Visual Atlas because I kept starting image generation from a blank page.
I usually knew the mood I wanted, something like "calm, nostalgic, watercolor", but not the style reference or the vocabulary to get there. Browsing random galleries took longer than the generation itself.
Visual Atlas is a searchable library of 27,681 visual styles, growing every day. You start from a feeling, a color, a technique or an influence. Each style shows its palette, a plain-language description of its visual language, and its tags. When one fits, you copy the image or the --sref code and use it in your tool.
A few choices I made on purpose:
- Everything is free to explore, with no account and no paywall on references.
- Lifetime Pro is a one-time payment (€79 at launch). It adds a personal account, favorites, collections, and MCP access so assistants like Claude can search the atlas for you.
- The atlas keeps growing: new references are analyzed and added daily.
