Hey everyone, I’m Suneel, the person behind VidVisual. I made this because I kept noticing how different a thumbnail can look in the editor versus when it’s actually sitting in a YouTube feed. At 1280×720, everything looks obvious. Shrink it down next to 10 other videos and suddenly the text is hard to read, the focal point gets lost, or something important ends up behind the duration badge. I wanted a really quick way to check that before publishing, without having to upload anything or sign up for another service. That’s basically what VidVisual became. I’d genuinely love to know what you think. If you make YouTube videos, what do you usually check before settling on a thumbnail?
