Hey everyone! Vidrip started with a simple frustration: I'd send a friend a video I knew was hilarious... and get back "lol." Three letters. That's it. I wanted to see the actual laugh. So my co-founder and I built an app where the reply to a video isn't text — it's your friend's real face, recorded as they watch. The genuine laugh, the jaw drop, the confused squint. And since reactions can get reactions of their own, conversations grow into video reaction trees — no typing anywhere. We're live on iOS and Android now and still deep in active development, which means feedback from this community genuinely shapes what we build next.
