VidMint
A couple clips. Weeks of content.
VidMint turns screen recordings and lifestyle clips into short-form videos and carousel slides. Upload hook clips and app demos. VidMint combines every hook with every demo, each with an AI caption matched to your brand voice. 3 hooks and 4 demos = 12 unique videos. AI learns your tone by crawling your website. Two studios: Video for TikTok, Reels, and Shorts. Slides for Instagram carousels. One upload session fills your content calendar for weeks. Plans from $15/mo.
Dmitry here. I built VidMint because I was spending 4+ hours a week editing the same types of short-form videos over and over.
The insight was simple: if you have 3 hook clips and 4 app demos, that's 12 unique videos. But editing 12 videos manually is brutal. So I built a tool that does the combinatorial math for you. Upload your clips, and VidMint pairs every hook with every demo and writes an AI caption for each one.
The AI captions are the part I'm most proud of. VidMint crawls your website when you sign up and learns your brand voice. Every caption sounds like you wrote it, not like ChatGPT on default settings.
There are two studios. Video Studio outputs 9:16 vertical videos for TikTok, Reels, and Shorts. Slide Studio creates Instagram carousel slides from your photos. Same clip library feeds both.
The stack: React frontend on Vercel, FFmpeg render engine on Hetzner, Claude Haiku for captions, Supabase for everything else. Built the whole thing with Claude Code.
I'd love to hear what you think. Happy to answer any questions about the product, the tech, or the content strategy behind it.

Who hunted VidMint?
VidMint was hunted by Dmitry Maly. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
