I built Video Downloader because saving content from public Instagram posts is often more complicated than it should be. Many existing tools are crowded with confusing steps, require an account, or push users to install an app or browser extension.
The goal here was simple: paste a public Instagram link, view the available download options, and save the file directly from your browser.
It currently supports public Instagram videos, Reels, photos, Stories, carousel posts, audio, and profile pictures. It works on mobile and desktop, and no login or installation is required.
This is an early version, so I’d really appreciate your feedback. If something feels unclear, a link doesn’t work as expected, or there’s a feature you’d find useful, please let me know in the comments.
