Viddle

Turn YouTube into your personal knowledge library

Transform YouTube into your personal knowledge library with playlists, timestamped notes, markers, and smart discovery.

Top comment

Like many people, I used YouTube as my primary learning platform—for design, development, AI, business, and countless other topics. But every time I found something valuable, I'd either bookmark it, save it to "Watch Later," or forget about it entirely. Over time, I ended up with hundreds of saved videos and no practical way to organize or revisit the information that actually mattered. I wasn't looking for another bookmarking tool—I wanted a way to retain knowledge. That's what led me to build Viddle. Viddle helps you save YouTube videos, organize them into playlists, add timestamped notes and markers, and quickly return to the moments that matter. Instead of treating YouTube as endless entertainment, Viddle turns it into a personal knowledge library. Throughout development, the product evolved quite a bit. It started as a simple "save video" extension, but conversations with early users and my own workflow made it clear that organization alone wasn't enough. That's why I added playlists, resume progress, timestamped notes, markers, and personalized video recommendations based on saved content. This launch is just the beginning. AI-powered summaries, highlights, and conversational search are already part of the roadmap, with the goal of making it even easier to learn, remember, and rediscover knowledge from YouTube. I'd love to hear how you currently save and revisit useful YouTube videos—and what you'd want to see in Viddle next.
