Who hunted ViceMaps?
ViceMaps was hunted by Pravin Velmurugan. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community. Hi Product Hunt — I’m Pravin, founder of ViceMaps.
ViceMaps brings seven game-inspired visual styles to real-world navigation: Sunset District, Pixelcraft, Night Grid, Palm Coast, Canyon Trails, Neon Circuit and Enchanted Kingdom.
The idea is simple: the map you look at every day should have a little more personality. Route previews, turn-by-turn guidance, voice directions and nearby search sit underneath the different worlds.
Android users can explore all seven styles through one shared 3-day trial. After that, each style has its own monthly or yearly subscription.
I’d love your honest feedback: which style would you choose for a daily commute, and what would make themed navigation more useful to you?
I’m here to answer questions and hear what you’d change.
