VibeShield
Find exposed risks on VibeCoded apps before attackers do.
VibeShield is a premium macOS security utility that scans live URLs locally, finds real-world misconfigurations, and exports polished PDF/HTML/Markdown/JSON reports with plain-English fixes. Copy and paste fix recommendations into Claude, Codex, Cursor and secure your app.
I built VibeShield because I kept seeing a gap in the vibe coding world.. people (myself included) ship fast with AI-assisted tools, but security almost always gets skipped. The problem isn't hackers exploiting complex vulnerabilities. It's simple misconfigurations: an exposed Supabase anon key with no RLS, weak CORS rules, leaked source maps. Basic stuff that can kill your app overnight.
I wanted a tool that didn't require setting up CI/CD pipelines or reading dense security docs. Just paste your live URL, get a clear report with plain-English fixes, and paste those fixes straight into Claude or Cursor. That's the workflow.
The process evolved from a simple script into a full macOS app with PDF/HTML/Markdown/JSON export.. because I realised the report itself is a product. Founders can share it with clients, freelancers can deliver it as an audit, and solo builders can use it as a pre-launch checklist.
Ship fast. Stay secure.

Who hunted VibeShield?
VibeShield was hunted by Michael Frankland. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it.
