VibePause

Your game. Your music. Automatically synced.

Tired of getting fragged mid-song? VibePause pauses your music the second a VALORANT round starts, then brings it back when you die, buy, or head back to the lobby. It runs quietly in your tray.

Hi everyone, I’m Tanveer, the maker of VibePause. I got tired of getting fragged mid-song and diving for the volume mixer, so I built a free, open-source tray app that pauses your music when a VALORANT round starts and resumes when you die, buy, or return to the lobby. It reads the local game log and uses Windows’ built-in OCR, with no overlay, injection or memory reading. It’s still early, and the installer isn’t code-signed yet, so Windows may show a SmartScreen warning. I’d love feedback on which events and music apps you’d want supported.

Who hunted VibePause?

VibePause was hunted by Tanveer. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
