Hey Product Hunt! I built VettrGuide following the Supreme Court’s May 14, 2026 decision in Montgomery v. Caribe Transport II, LLC. The Court held that the FAAAA does not preempt state-law negligent-selection claims against freight brokers. This does not make brokers automatically liable for every accident, but it means carrier-selection decisions and the processes behind them may now face greater scrutiny under state law. VettrGuide helps freight brokers create a standardized, consistent, and auditable carrier-vetting process. It pulls public FMCSA and PHMSA data, maps state-by-state route exposure, applies company-defined review requirements, records who completed each check, and generates downloadable audit packets documenting why a carrier was approved, restricted, or declined. I started building VettrGuide within hours of the ruling because brokers need more than another carrier lookup tool. They need a repeatable process that demonstrates reasonable care. I’d love feedback from freight brokers, compliance teams, insurers, and transportation-risk professionals. What would make VettrGuide more valuable to your carrier-review process?
