I built Veritas because I kept finishing true crime podcasts thinking "I would have caught that detail earlier."
The hardest part was making suspects feel like real people — they needed to deflect differently, crack differently, and lie in ways that fit their psychology. Took a lot of iteration to get there.
Would love to know: does the interrogation feel real to you, or does it still feel like talking to a chatbot? That's the thing I'm most anxious about.
