VerifyHabit

The habit app that can't be lied to

Habits verified by Apple Health & Screen Time — Watch, Garmin, Whoop or Oura all count. No self-reporting, no checkbox theater. Show up and your subscription price drops: $4.99/mo earned down to $0.99/mo. A ledger, not a game.

Hey PH 👋 I'm Peter, maker of VerifyHabit. I built this after realizing every habit streak I'd ever had was partly fiction — the tracker believed whatever I tapped. VerifyHabit only counts what it can prove: workouts via heart rate, sleep and steps via Apple Health (Apple Watch, Garmin, Whoop, Oura — any synced wearable), phone discipline via Screen Time, and a morning alarm that keeps ringing until you're actually up and moving. The twist I'm most eager for feedback on: **your price is set by your consistency.** Month one is $4.99 for everyone. From month two, holding habits at a high verified rate earns the next cycle down — $2.99 → $1.99 → $0.99/mo. The discount must be re-earned every cycle, so the app and you want the same thing: for you to show up. Design-wise it's a paper ledger — matte, hairlines, no gradients, no mascot, no confetti. Honest states everywhere: if a permission is off or a signal is missing, it says "can't verify" instead of a hollow green check. iPhone only is enough; any wearable that syncs to Health works. Privacy: raw health data never leaves the device; the server sees only verified/missed states. Ask me anything!

Who hunted VerifyHabit?

VerifyHabit was hunted by Peter Buchlák. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
