Built for clear nights and curious minds.
Hey Product Hunt! 👋
Whenever I planned an evening out stargazing or trying to catch an ISS flyby, I found myself juggling three different tabs: a satellite tracker, a dark-sky map, and weather tools.
I built VEMMSUNJ to bring those essentials into one clean, lightweight web app you can actually use in the field.
A few highlights: • Real-time satellite passes & ground tracks powered by CelesTrak. • Dark-sky & observatory discovery to find the best viewing locations. • Night-vision red mode so your screen won’t ruin your eyes’ adaptation to the dark. • Open source (MIT) and fueled by trusted data feeds from NASA JPL, NOAA, and Open-Meteo.
The project is completely free and open-source. I’d love to hear what you think—what features, data layers, or satellite groups would you love to see added next?
Thanks for checking it out, and clear skies tonight! 🌌🛰️
