Veggie Bestie
A tiny Apple Watch habit tracker that grows a story
A retro pixel-art habit tracker for Apple Watch with fun check-in animations and a unique streak infographic that scales visually, whether you're on day 40, week 48, or year 10. 100% accessible. No guilt if you miss a day: "Your longest streak starts today!" One habit, one tap, no account, no ads.
Hey everyone 👋 This is my first shipped iOS app! I'm excited (and nervous) to share it :)
It started as an experiment: could a habit tracker feel less like another task and more like a reward? Most habit apps run on guilt, I wanted to see if the reward loop could carry the motivation instead. So I kept it deliberately small: one habit, one check-in a day, right from the complication on your watch face. It's also fully accessible. Your longest streak starts today! ;P
I designed it in Figma, drew and animated all the pixel art in Resprite (right on my phone), and built it in Xcode with support from Claude.
Would love any feedback, especially from fellow Apple Watch users. Also happy to answer questions about the build process.
