Top comment

Hey Product Hunt, I'm Fynn. I've been working with vectors for about 20 years, and for most of that time Illustrator's Image Trace has been quietly ruining my afternoons. The workflow was always the same: darken the image in Photoshop, pull exposure curves, export, import, trace, then spend two hours pushing anchor points around because half the paths came out open. Every single time. At some point I decided I wasn't doing that again. So I built Vector Boy. You throw in a hand drawing, a photo, a complex structure, basically any graphic, and you get closed vector paths out. No Photoshop detour. I use it for tattoo stencils, screen printing, embroidery files, plotter files and DXF for the laser. Two things I care about: everything runs in your browser, nothing gets uploaded to a server, because I wouldn't upload my own client work to a random tool either. And there's no subscription, because I hate subscriptions. 10 euros gets you 100 downloads and that's it. I'm not a company. This is a thing one annoyed person built for other annoyed people. Which means I'd love to hear where it breaks. If you throw something at it and get garbage out, show me. That's the feedback I actually need.
