Vavaro
Photograph what you own. Get values. Be insurance-ready.
Snap a photo - Vavaro fills in the item and estimates replacement + resale value, then flags if you are under-insured. One tap exports a claim-ready pack (PDF + photos/receipts) for your insurer. Offline-first, encrypted on-device.
Hey all, I am Engi, and I built Vavaro.
So Vavaro is a home inventory that does the tedious part for you. You photograph an item, it recognises what it is and estimates two numbers — what it would cost to buy new (replacement) and what it's worth today (resale) — and it flags if your home insurance coverage is short.
When something actually happens, one tap exports a claim-ready pack: a PDF list plus a ZIP of your original photos and receipts, which is what insurers really want after theft or damage. That export is free for everyone.
• It works fully offline and you can start without an account.
• Your data is encrypted on your device. No ads, no tracking, nothing sold.
I would love your feedback. Thanks for taking a look!

Who hunted Vavaro?
Vavaro was hunted by Engi. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
