I built this for two frustrations that kept showing up in the same session.
First: I didn’t want to make an account or leave a trail just to try an open model. Most “free” chats still want an email, keep history, or are vague about what they store. UsingOpen has no account and nothing is saved.
Second: I was done getting cut off. Paywalls, token meters, and “you’ve reached your limit” are workflow killers. UsingOpen is free with no premium tier and no usage interrupt: pick GLM, Qwen, DeepSeek, Gemma, GPT-OSS, MiMo, and keep going.
Replies stream. Models that think can show their work. Some take images. Live status tells you what’s actually available.
