Upwork Shitshow

A live wall of shame for Upwork's most absurd job posts

AI scans every new Upwork job, finds the most absurd ones, scores and tags them, and rewrites each title as if the client was being honest. React, comment, and roast the worst listings with other freelancers! New jobs appear all day. Free. Built by Zenfl — we filter the garbage so our users only see jobs worth applying to.

Hey PH!

I run Zenfl – a job alerts tool for Upwork freelancers. Every day I'd see these insane job posts and screenshot them to send to friends. $50 for a Facebook clone kind of stuff. At some point I thought – why not automate this?

So I built an AI that scans every new Upwork job, finds the ones that should be illegal, scores them, and rewrites the title honestly.

The thing that surprised me most is the sheer volume. Hundreds of these get posted every single day. I genuinely didn't realize how bad it was until I saw them all in one place.

On Upwork you can't even comment on a job post – the only way to respond costs you money (Connects). So freelancers just scroll past in silence. Now there's a place to actually react and roast them together.

We also use this AI on the backend to filter these jobs out of Zenfl alerts, so our users never see the garbage.

Would love your feedback – and if you're a freelancer, sorry in advance 🫡
