Upkeep

WordPress maintenance reports without spreadsheet chaos

Upkeep gives WordPress freelancers and small agencies one place to monitor plugin, theme and core updates, triage findings, and produce clear maintenance reports for clients. It replaces scattered checks and spreadsheet logs with scheduled syncs, priority alerts and a reusable audit trail. Upkeep is currently waitlist-only; the first release will focus on monitoring and reporting.

Hi Product Hunt, I am Marcel, the maker of Upkeep. I maintain several WordPress sites and wanted an easy way to show what had been updated and share a clear maintenance report. I started with a list in Excel. It worked for a while, but plugin versions, notes, checks, and client updates quickly became a mess. Upkeep began as the tool I wanted for myself: one place to see what needs attention and leave a useful record of the work. The first release is focused on WordPress freelancers and small agencies: - Connect a site with a WordPress Application Password - Sync plugin, theme, and core findings on a schedule - See high-priority items without checking every wp-admin - Keep an upkeep history and generate client-ready reports Upkeep is not generally available yet. I am opening the waitlist first so I can learn from people who already maintain WordPress sites for clients and make the monitoring and reporting workflow genuinely useful before wider access. I would especially value feedback on two questions: 1. How do you document WordPress maintenance today? 2. What information must be in a report before you would send it to a client? Thanks for taking a look. I will be here throughout the day to answer questions and learn from your workflows.
