Reports get your logo, a report number counted by the scale and a seal anyone can check on a public page without uploading the file, and saved reports can be signed electronically as performed, reviewed or approved. Cannabis clubs get their KCanG records while weighing: harvest, drying, dispensing and destruction per lot, with member ID and THC / CBD. Also included: an equipment register with test history, four-eyes approval of recipes, a compounding assistant with batch records, minimum-weight warnings, air buoyancy correction, exports in your own format and LIMS forwarding. An RS-232 scale also works through a serial-to-USB cable plugged straight into your computer, but an adapter (below) gives you more. Most Bluetooth drivers are new and marked BETA: if you own one of these scales, please tell me whether it works. Everyone who helps test the scales or printers gets a free lifetime licence! If your scale isn't supported yet, send me its protocol or a recording of its Bluetooth or serial data: that earns the licence too.
Got an older shop or lab scale with an RS-232 port? Our firmware turns it into a wireless smart scale. It runs on the ESP32-C3 RS232 Adapter (about 13.50 EUR from TinyTronics, we're not affiliated) or on an ESP32 board you wire up yourself, and the firmware is free. On a chip, several phones can use the scale at once, the data lives on the scale instead of in one browser, it keeps recording while no phone is connected and, with PRO, the link is encrypted. That's also the way to ENTERPRISE, with the professional scale testing tools, user roles and many more tools for anyone who works in a regulated environment or has to test scales every day :)
