I built Unsaid because of a small thing I kept noticing in myself: how often I said "I'm fine" when I wasn't, or agreed with something I didn't believe — usually to avoid friction.
I didn't want an app that judges those moments. I wanted one that just helps me notice them. So Unsaid asks one gentle question a day:
"Was there a moment today when you didn't say what you really thought?"
You note who you were with, why you held back, and how it felt. Then, if you want, a kinder way you might say it next time. That's it. No streaks to break, no score to improve.
The privacy part isn't a feature — it's the whole premise. A journal like this only works if you're completely honest, and you can only be completely honest if you're certain nobody else can read it:
• No account, no sign-up, no server. I have no backend at all.
• Entries are encrypted on-device (CryptoKit AES-GCM) with a key stored in the Keychain that never syncs to iCloud.
• Works fully offline — try it in Airplane Mode.
• Face ID lock, plus export or delete everything anytime.
• App Store privacy label: Data Not Collected. Because there's nothing to collect.
