I didn't intend to create this at all, but it turned out to be too interesting. I'm a sci fi artist by profession, but as a hobby I'm researching various speculative concepts like acoustic flying saucers and so on, and based on my experiments in fluid dynamics, I wanted to do CFD to test my hypothesis of vortex formation. It was planned as a partial simulation simulating Brownian motion, All particles obey the same rules: they are attracted by Newtonian gravity, repel each other at short distances, and have active spin, transferring momentum to each other tangentially. Experimenting with this, I discovered that changing the general settings leads to the formation of all sorts of patterns from the macrocosm to atoms and even something like protoorganisms. Plus it makes for beautiful visualizations. In general, I'm interested in what might come out of this.
