I launched my very first iOS app about a month ago... what a blast!
It's a productivity app aimed at people who need help remembering things.
My mother was the inspiration for the app after I discovered she has a condition called 'white matter' in her brain which will eventually lead to memory loss. This app is designed for her so she can remember the important dates and events in her life.
We've spent some time adding all of the upcoming dates she needs to remember into the app - doctor's appointments, birthdays, upcoming events, medications schedule, personal information about her family and friends.
She now has an App that acts like a personal CRM... and I can already see a change in her. The App won't cure her condition, but it's becoming a go-to place for anything she needs to remember.
And since she's 78 years old and not very tech-savvy, I can also log in as a helper and maintain her app directly from my own phone!
I personally use the App every day. It has become my go-to place for keeping track of upcoming events, reminders, appointments... even things like clothing sizes and gift ideas for family and friends. No more sticky notes!!!
