Hey Product Hunt 👋
I'm Muhammad Rayan — I built UnderstandIQ out of a year-long research project on why students fail even when they study hard.
The core finding that drove everything: confidence miscalibration — the gap between how certain a learner feels and how accurate they actually are — predicts learning failure better than raw accuracy. A student who scores 75% and knows exactly where they went wrong will almost always outperform a student who scores 80% but thinks they understood everything.
Every platform I could find was ignoring this. So I formalized the problem into a research framework (HCMS, published on Zenodo with a DOI), then built UnderstandIQ as its first applied demonstration.
I'm 16 and based in Karachi, Pakistan. This is my first Product Hunt launch.
