To be honest, I'd never heard of Product Hunt until I started looking for places to introduce Undersrvd.
Undersrvd grew from a problem I was trying to solve myself. I wanted to discover patterns that might reveal the next big thing. Were there hidden signals that pointed to a growing need before it became obvious? Was there a market quietly being underserved?
That's when I realised the underserved market was me: someone looking for underserved markets. Then it occurred to me there were probably plenty of other people asking the same question - wondering what their next venture, product or business should be. They probably needed the same thing I did: a centralised repository of signals buried in news articles, government reports, research papers and industry publications that point to underserved markets and future demand.
There are plenty of entrepreneurs, agencies, product teams and solo developers all looking for their next venture. Too often they're building what's already popular or chasing crowded markets. Undersrvd turns that around by highlighting emerging needs *before* they're widely recognised, giving people a head start and the chance to build what the market is likely to need next - not simply what's already out there.
