It's an onchain maritime strategy game. The core idea is simple: explore ports, manage them strategically, and build smarter trade routes across the Mediterranean — the feeling of building a trading empire, now fully onchain.
The question I kept circling on while building this: not every trader is a gamer, and not every gamer is a trader. Onchain trading is sharp but cold; games are fun but rarely have real stakes. I wanted something that sits in between — strategy and reading the market matter, but it's wrapped in ports, voyages, and pirates instead of charts. You might carry Tomatoes out of Athens and find Istanbul's market reading very differently by the time you arrive.
A few things I'm proud of:
- Every trade good is an ERC-20, with $CHEF as the reserve currency. The economy is run by an AI agent, Marco Polo, who manages port taxes and per-market saturation — the indicators that keep each market alive and moving.
- Every voyage is a real onchain action, permanently recorded on Base. Win or lose, the record is yours.
- It was vibe-coded, so iterating on new ideas is almost instant — concepts get spun up and tested on the fly.
- It runs natively in the Base App and Farcaster, with gas sponsorship and batched transactions so the chain stays mostly out of your way.
- There's an XP ×1.5 event running in-game right now (live ops).
Token prices can fluctuate and play involves risk — it's a game first. I'd love for this to grow alongside the web3 gaming community, and any feedback or collaboration ideas are genuinely welcome.
