Unbody is an AI-native content API that automates the entire AI pipeline from data to the front end, all in API. Connect your data, Choose your AI, and Start building in one line of code.
Hello fellow makers and developers, 👋
We've come a long way to be here today, launching the latest version of Unbody on Product Hunt. I'm Amir, one of the founders, and I'd like to share our journey with you.🤗
Six years ago, I wrote the first line of code for what would eventually become Unbody, initially a headless CMS. My co-founder, @hossein_mehrabi, joined three years later. In 2022, with the rise of AI and while searching for a better search engine, we decided to fully migrate to a vector database (Weaviate). This decision opened up a whole new world for us. Long story short, by September 2023, Unbody had evolved into an entirely different creature, prompting us to pivot toward becoming an AI platform.
Throughout this journey, we've learned one thing: AI development is complex. It's so complex that many of us outside the realm of AI engineering face challenges in building even the simplest AI functionalities. Yet, AI is advancing so rapidly that it has become a part of everyday life. Hear me out; soon, "AI-first" will become the new "mobile-first." Features like semantic search, chatbots, and generative interactions will be expected in every website and app. But are we truly prepared?
Probably not, and that's the vision driving us to continue developing Unbody. We built Unbody as an AI platform that automates the entire AI development pipeline, tailored to what web developers, low-code developers, iOS developers, and all other developers need to build "AI-first" products without the complexities of the AI toolchain.
Simply connect your data, choose your AI stack, and start building what you’re good at: awesome apps and websites.
We have built Unbody to this stage with passion and our pocket money, believing that we are adding value to our community and ecosystem, and preparing for the upcoming “AI-first” wave.
Please go ahead and give it a try, and let us know what you think.
Cheers,
Amir (& Hossein)
