Hi Product Hunters! 👋
I'm Nhan, the maker of Typesetters.
As a full-stack engineer on the job market, I wrote my CV in LaTeX for the typography, but the workflow was painful. Overleaf to write and compile, a spreadsheet to track applications, and for every job I liked, another manual copy-paste session to tailor the CV. One afternoon spent hand-editing 10 versions of the same resume convinced me to build the tool I wanted.
Typesetters is that tool: a web workspace where you write LaTeX, compile PDFs in the cloud, and when a promising job shows up, paste its description into AI Tailor. It analyzes your CV against the posting, suggests targeted edits you review one by one, and generates a dedicated CV variant linked to that job. Your application pipeline always knows exactly which version went to which company.
Launch notes:
- Everything is free while we grow: unlimited projects, compiles, and tracked jobs
- 5 free AI tailor credits on signup, enough for your first 5 tailored CVs
I'd love your feedback, especially on the AI tailoring flow: does it match how you customize your resume today? And what would make Typesetters your daily driver? Feature requests and roadmap ideas are very welcome.
