Twitch Mini Player
Watch Twitch while you work PiP, side panel, multistream
Twitch Mini Player is a Chrome extension to watch Twitch while you work. A draggable picture in picture window floats over every tab, a side panel pins stream + chat next to your work, and multi stream workspaces let you watch up to four channels at once. Go live alerts, schedule reminders, clip & VOD bookmarks, and powerful filters for your followed list. Local first your data lives in your browser. No analytics, no tracking, one Twitch OAuth scope (user:read:follows).
Hey Product Hunt 👋
I'm Thomas, the maker of Twitch Mini Player.
I built this because watching Twitch always meant a giant tab stealing my screen. I wanted a stream that floats over my work, a side panel I could pin next to my code, and a way to keep an eye on four channels during tournaments without juggling tabs.
What's inside:
• Draggable picture in picture mini player that floats over any site
• Chrome side panel with the player + chat, pinned next to your work
• Multi stream workspaces save layouts of up to 4 channels, reopen with one click
• Go live alerts and schedule reminders for the streamers you follow
• Saved clips & VODs, filters, and a clean dashboard for your followed list
Privacy was non negotiable:
• No backend database your data lives in your browser (IndexedDB)
• No analytics, no telemetry, no third party SDKs
• One Twitch OAuth scope: user:read:follows
• Uses Twitch's official embed (no scrapers, no modded streams)
Would love your feedback especially on the workspaces and side panel flows. What's the multi stream layout you'd save first?
