TweetChain
Archive your X posts permanently on the ICP blockchain
A self-custodial Chrome extension for permanently archiving X posts on the Internet Computer. Preserve tweet metadata, screenshots, and visual proof on-chain without relying on a centralized server. Built for creators, researchers, and Web3 users who want control over their digital history.
I built TweetChain around a simple question:
What happens to the things we post online when the platform changes, removes them, or we simply lose access to them?
X posts can contain years of memories, research, ideas, announcements, or important proof — but ultimately, they're stored on someone else's platform.
TweetChain lets you archive important X posts directly to the Internet Computer blockchain.
The extension preserves:
• Tweet ID, text, author and timestamp
• A local screenshot as visual proof
• The archived data on-chain
• A self-custodial identity generated locally in the browser
There is no traditional server holding your private keys, and the goal is to give users much more control over their own digital history.
I'm especially interested in feedback from creators, researchers, journalists, Web3 users, and anyone who has ever thought:
"What if this post disappears one day?"
What kind of content would you personally want to preserve permanently?

TweetChain was hunted by ThyatiraCode. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it.
